Pick up your pumpkins seeds and register at Wischmeier Nursery starting in May through Memorial Day. Kids up to the age of  17 can grow pumpkins and Wischmeier will offer $50, $25 and $25 gift certificates to the two largest pumpkins along with the “most unusual”.

The adults will register to grow pumpkins and then bring in their best pumpkin baked item prior to Wischmeier’s annual fall event in September. The
top 3 baked items will also win $50, $25 and $25 gift certificates from Wischmeiers. Others attending the Great Pumpkin Event will be able to buy or sample the items for a donation to "John Wischmeier’s ChristmasToy"charity in Kentucky.
