More H1N1 Flu Clinics Scheduled in Bartholomew County

The Bartholomew County Health Department has announced a pair of clinics to administer the H1N1 flu shots. The first clinic will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second will occur on Tuesday, December 8th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both clinics will be held at the Fairoaks Mall.

There is no charge to receive the vaccine, which will be in shot form. According to the Health Department, the mist form of the vaccine will not be available. The following guidelines must be met in order to receive the vaccine at either of these clinics:

Recipients must be caregivers or household members of infants six months and younger.

Recipients must be between the age of six months and 24 years old.

Recipients age 24 - 64 years old must have a chronic health condition.  

Recipients must be healthcare providers.

Recipients must be pregnant women.
