Party Lines Split Health Care Vote in Indiana
The votes on health care reform legislation were split among party lines in Indiana. All four republican representatives voted against the bill while democratic representatives André Carson, Joe Donnelly, Brad Ellsworth, Baron Hill, and Pete Visclosky vote for health care reform. Some democrats announced they would vote yes days before the vote, including Ellsworth of the 8th district, who made his announcement on Friday. 9th district representative Baron Hill announced his decision on Saturday.
