CPD Announces Citizens Academy

The Columbus Police Department Citizens Academy Class will be take place during the month of September. Those in attendance will be given an inside look into the functioning and operations of the Police Department with each class focusing on a different division of CPD's arsenal. Instruction will be provided by members of SWAT, Crisis Negotiation, K-9, uniform patrol, investigations, and CSI.　 Classes will be held each Thursday in  September.

Interested individuals must complete and submit an application by August 20th. The application can be downloaded from columbuspd.com or obtained from the Police Department front desk.
