Mother and Son Arrested in Monroe County for Conspiracy to Commit Murder

A mother and son are facing charges after they alleged attempted to kill a witness in a pending trial. Jason Bridgewater, 33, is accused of conspiring with his mother Linda Littrell to commit the murder of the witness in a pending trial against Bridgewater.

According to information received, Linda Littrell was to provide Oxycontin tablets to the individual for the purposes of producing a lethal dosage to be injected by syringe into the victim. Linda Littrell was arrested at her home on Thursday July 29, 2010 for Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Class A felony. The same charge will be filed against Jason Bridgewater.

Bridgewater is currently incarcerated in the Monroe County Correctional Center on pending charges from a previous arrest for rape, burglary and confinement.
