Woman Injured In Jennings County Crash

A Dupont woman suffered non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash on County Road 500S just west of State Road 3 in Jennings County Friday morning.

Major Jerry Shepherd, with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, says around 8 a.m., Kristina Bannister was going east on County Road 500 S when she struck a pickup truck pulling a trailer loaded with goats going west driven by Brice Fairchild of New Castle.

Shepherd says Bannister was transferred to Jennings ER for treatment of her injuries.
