Suspect Being Sought In Gas Station Robbery

An armed robbery took place shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday at the New Point Food Mart in New Point.

Decatur County Sheriff Gregory Allen says a white male, standing 5' 10" tall with a slim build wearing a camo jacket and mask walked into the store with a knife and demanded money from the cashier. The man fled with an undetermined amount of money heading south on State Road 46 toward the New Point area.

Allen says deputies along with an Indiana State Police K-9 tracked the suspect, but were not able to find him.
