'Parking Lot Pickers' Coming Up April 13 In Seymour

Parking Lot Pickers, a fundraiser for Seymour Main Street, is coming up on April 13 in downtown Seymour.

Gloria Cullison is a member of the Seymour Main Street promotions committee. She says the organization is getting very close to selling out all of the parking spots for the event that will be held rain or shine in the parking lot on South Walnut Street.

Cullison says the organization had 30 spaces blocked off for the event in the Walnut Street lot, and there are only three spots left, so they will probably have about 10 spots available across from it in the Robertson lot for those wishing to sell their items that day.

You will be able to sell items like furniture, household goods, clothing, music and other items, but no firearms, weapons or alcoholic beverages may be sold.

The deadline to register is April 10. The cost is $20, which includes two parking spots.
