'Vibrant Response' to Likely Cause Increased Traffic

Expect to see increased military convoy traffic around Camp Atterbury and the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in the coming days.

The increase is due to units participating in the "Vibrant Response" exercise, underway from July 27 through Aug. 23. You can also expect to see a large number of commercial tractor trailers on Hospital Road from July 27 through Aug. 1 and on Schoolhouse Road from Aug. 6-12, and again from Aug. 18-23.

A detour is scheduled to begin on or near Aug. 1 on Schoolhouse Road that will divert traffic east on to Division Street, then south on Gatling Street before turning west on Edinburgh Street and south back on to Schoolhouse Road.

You should expect and prepare for traffic delays during these times.
