If you travel regularly on State Road 44 in Johnson County, you may be inconvenienced for a few weeks.
INDOT plans to close State Road 44 west of U.S. 31 at Franklin for up to 15 days, beginning Tuesday morning. Construction crews will be replacing a small drainage structure that crosses under the east-west roadway.
Officials say Calumet Civil Contractors of Whitestown has been contracted to remove a section of sidewalk and excavate across State Road 44 at a tributary to Youngs Creek.
