The lone suspect in the Waynesville murders, who faces a federal criminal charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm, has a new attorney and a new trial date next spring in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis.
Our news gathering partners at "The Republic" report Indianapolis criminal defense attorney Eric Koselke last week took over Samuel E. Sallee's defense from U.S. District Court public defender Gwendolyn Beitz.
The paper reports Sallee had asked the court for new legal representation because of what he called a conflict of interest and lack of experience by his previous attorney.
Koselke made his initial appearance as Sallee’s defense counsel Friday.
