The 46th Annual Hope Heritage Days is this weekend.
Randy Sims is an organizer for the event. He says activities kick off Friday evening with plenty of music. A traditional gospel sing will be held at Hauser High School, beginning at 6 p.m. Also taking place at the same time, a bluegrass jamboree. That is being held at the bandstand on the Hope Town Square. The band Possum Glory Train closes the evening out at the bandstand with a show beginning at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the day begins at 8 a.m. with a car show. The Heritage Classic Cross Country Meet begins at 9 a.m. There will also be plenty of children's activities, music and fireworks to close at the evening.
Events close on Sunday, with a worship service that begins at 9 a.m. A concert will begin at noon. A fly-over will take place just before the annual parade, which is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. Following the parade, the Gordon Bonham Blues Band perform at 4 p.m. Hope Heritage Days closes with a God and Country Rally at the Hope Moravian Church, beginning at 7 p.m.
