The Johnson County Sheriff's Office responded to an armed burglary and robbery early Tuesday morning at a home located at 5128 Chancery Blvd. in Greenwood.
Sheriff Doug Cox says around 2:20 a.m., deputies were sent to the home on a robbery complaint after a woman who lived there, Sharon O'Garra, went to a neighbor's home to report that the robbery had just happened.
Deputies assisted by Bargersville Police arrived and found that she and her husband, Hugh O'Garra, had been confronted in their home.
Sheriff Cox says two armed burglary suspects broke into the couple's home through a downstairs basement window and confronted them in different parts of the home.
The couple were tied up with zip ties and forced to show the intruders where valuables were located in the home. Sharon O'Garra was forced to remove some valuables she was wearing. The suspects fled the home to an awaiting vehicle.
The sheriff is asking for your help in solving this case. He is asking anyone with surveillance video to call the sheriff's office at 317-736-9155 or its investigations division at 317-346-4604.
He says they are particularly interested in any surveillance video from the Kensington Grove addition or from any surveillance camera operating around Center Grove High School focusing on Morgantown Road.
