The International School of Columbus recently shut its doors due a large amount of debt that it could not pay. So the school is hoping the community will come out to a sale it's planning for Thursday through Saturday to help raise funds to pay off that debt.
Our news gathering partners at "The Republic" report the sale is open to schools and home school families Thursday and Friday. It will be open to everyone else Saturday.
International School Board President Rich Wagner told the paper items from the school at 3136 S. National Rd. were moved over and combined with items at a facility the school was remodeling on Brooks Street, where most of the biggest items already were.
The school had invested more than $150,000 to remodel that facility to meet increasing enrollment projections.
