Two men were arrested Tuesday in a Johnson County drug investigation.

Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says that 20-year-old Nathaniel Weber and 20-year-old Aaron Matheson were arrested on marijuana charges after deputies executed a search warrant at Weber's home at 4699 W. Smith Valley Rd. in Greenwood. According to the affidavit, investigators received information that Weber has been dealing marijuana and prescription medications from inside the home.

Members of the sheriff's department, Greenwood Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency executed the search warrant just before 8:30 a.m. The team had to break the home's door down due to lack of response from the people inside.

Once inside, the team detained three people inside the home, including Weber and Matheson. According to investigators, they found over 200 grams of marijuana, digital scales, $2,460 in cash and other drug paraphernalia. Officers also took a television which Weber indicated was payment for a marijuana sale.

Weber and Matheson are each facing charges of possession of paraphernalia. In addition, Weber is facing charges of dealing marijuana and Matheson is facing charges for marijuana possession. The third subject was not suspected of being involved in any illegal activity.

Both men were booked in the Johnson County Jail.
