No Injuries Reported Following School Bus Crash

No one was injured after a pickup truck rolled into a school bus in Bartholomew County Wednesday.

 

Sgt. Noel Houze, with Indiana State Police in Versailles, says around 8:10 a.m., a pickup, driven by 29-year-old Bobby D. Bryant of Edinburgh, was stopped at Lot 118 in the Driftside Mobile Home Park off U.S. 31 when a Human Services-Head Start school bus, driven by 53-year-old Sheila Marie Wilson of Columbus, was approaching. Bryant pulled out in front of the bus as it was approaching. The bus struck the pickup truck in the left rear with the right front bumper.

 

Sixteen kids were on the bus. No one was injured. Another bus was sent to the scene and students were loaded on the other bus and taken to school.

 

Bryant was cited for a learner's permit violation and operating without proof of financial responsibility.
