A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Bloomington man.

The Bloomington Police Department is searching for 63-year-old Larry Jay Bell, who is also known as "Sam." Bell was last seen at 6 a.m. Friday and is believed to be in danger.

Police identify Bell as a white male, 6'3" and 250 lbs. He has short, gray hair, mustache and beard. Bell also has a mole on the center of his forehead and a second one on his right nostril. At the time of his disappearance, Bell had a diamond and green earring in his left ear. He was also wearing dark jeans, a long sleeve "Kentucky Wildcats" shirt, white and green tennis shoes and a black "University of Kentucky" hat.

Bell may be disoriented and in need of medical attention.
