Two Seriously Injured in Thanksgiving Eve Crash

A two-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in Jennings County sent two people to the hospital.

 

According to Trooper Matt Holley, with Indiana State Police in Versailles, a pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Devin R. Fear, of Scipio, was southbound on State Road 7 just outside of North Vernon when for unknown reasons, he completely traveled left of center and struck a northbound car driven by 21-year-old Michael Taylor, of North Vernon.

 

Fear suffered multiple fractures and bruises. Taylor suffered multiple injuries considered to be life-threatening. Both drivers were transported to St. Vincent Jennings Hospital. Taylor was later airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville.

 

Holley was assisted at the scene by Jennings County Sheriff’s Deputies. The crash remains under investigation.
