An Indianapolis engineering and architectural firm is set to present its findings from a study of the aging Bartholomew County annex building on State Street to the County Commissioners today. That's according to our news gathering partners at "The Republic."
The paper reports commissioners awarded a $14,000 contract to DLZ Indiana Inc. in October to study the building.
At the time of the agreement, Charlie Day, marketing and sales coordinator with DLZ Indiana, said the study would include a comprehensive review of the structure and the site to determine the life cycle of the building and the rehabilitation costs for the structure compared to a new building.
