A Columbus man was recently sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison for selling 10 tinfoil packets of heroin to an undercover policeman in March for an average of $24 each.
Our news gathering partners at "The Republic" report 22-year-old Logan Cutsinger pleaded guilty on a charge of dealing in a controlled substance in early November. He was sentenced by Bartholomew Circuit Judge Stephen Heimann two days after Christmas.
A police affidavit filed in the court record says Cutsinger sold an undercover narcotics investigator three small packets of heroin for a total of $75 in a grocery store parking lot on March 1. And Cutsinger allegedly followed that up with the sale of seven heroin packets hidden inside a cigarette pack to the same policeman three days later.
