Police Investigate Murders/Suicide in Franklin: UPDATED

Franklin police are investigating a murder-suicide that has left three people dead and two others injured late Monday.

WISH-TV is reporting that the shootings took place about 10:30 p.m. Monday night at a home on Bridlewood Drive.

Investigators say a man, identified as 21-year-old Andrew Parish, came to the home of his former girlfriend armed with a handgun. An argument broke out and four people were shot. According to the report, 19-year-old Sara Davidson died at the scene. A neighbor visiting the home, 46-year-old Ernest Jasper, was taken to the hospital, but later died.

After the shootings, police put out a description of the suspect's vehicle. Sheriff's deputies found the car about two miles away and were walking up to it when Parish shot himself.

The investigation is ongoing, but Parish reportedly left a suicide note.
