The annual program to help aid Bartholomew County residents living with diabetes begins next week.
Harriet Armstrong is the Health and Human Sciences Educator for Bartholomew County at the Purdue Extension Office. She says that there will be two sets of classes, each two-hours in length for four consecutive weeks. The first set will be held in Columbus on Wednesday evenings, beginning August 27 at Faith Ministries on State Road 46. Class time is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The other set of courses will be held in Hope on Thursdays, beginnings August 28 at Hope United Methodist Church. These classes are scheduled to run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Armstrong says the fee to attnd these courses is $20. Couples may join for $30. She says registration must be done by Monday, August 25.
