Crews are patching the on- and off-ramps linking Interstate 65 and State Road 46 at Columbus, starting this morning.
The repairs require partial closure of individual ramps but no ramps will be fully closed. None of the main lanes of Interstate 65 will be affected, said Harry Maginity spokesman for the Indiana Department of Transportation. This work will continue overnight until Friday at noon
This is all part of a $1.4 million pavement restoration project on the interstate between County Road 100N and Carr Hill Road. INDOT officials expect weekend work to continue until mid-September.
Today's work was scheduled to start at 6 a.m.
